Ninebarrow (Jon Whitley and Jay LaBouchardiere) are a multi-award-winning folk duo, who are impressing audiences across the country with their innovative and captivating take on the folk tradition. Described by Mark Radcliffe as sounding ‘like two halves of one voice’ and by Mercury Music Prize nominee Kate Rusby as ‘absolutely amazing’, Jon and Jay combine breath taking vocal harmonies and melodies, delivering original songs that are inspired and rooted in the landscape and history of the British Isles. As well as crafting unique and engaging original material, Ninebarrow also take a wide-range of traditional folk songs and rework them in their own, distinctive way.

For over 30 years Boo Hewerdine has been considered one of the UK’s finest singer-songwriters. As lead singer of seminal band, The Bible through to his subsequent solo work and long-time collaboration including the chart hit, the Patience of Angels, with the incredible Eddi Reader he has become something of a national treasure. His songs have been covered by the likes of KD Lang, Kris Drever, Chris Difford, Heidi Talbot and Hannah Rarity. On this tour he will be singing songs from his new album and his extraordinary back catalogue. A naturally gifted raconteur his gigs are always a total joy.
Supporting Boo will be Derby’s Jemma Johnson, a rising singer-songwriter who has racked up over 20 million streams on Spotify and gained a following of over 64,000 on YouTube. Jemma’s live fanbase has been building rapidly, cemented by the release of her last single ‘Love Rush’. BBC Introducing have backed Jemma more than ever following the release playing the song every week since.
