For the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music in South Derbyshire.

Hi Folks, we know this is not unexpected, but all of us at Village Folk are really saddened that we have to announce that our shows for the remainder of this year have been cancelled. To explain our current position, we have now taken the decision to put our monthly Village Folk gigs at Melbourne Assembly Rooms, on hold for the foreseeable future, until it is safe and viable for us to continue - as you will no doubt understand that the current situation is, for us, an unsustainable one.

We really do hope that we can at some point, reschedule dates in the future, for these artists that we were all looking forward to seeing and for all of us to get together for more fantastic times of fabulous live music!

Many of you have previously asked us to transfer cancelled gig tickets to our next available shows and we thank you for being so very generous and supportive, without you all we just cannot put on our monthly gigs! But as we do not know when our next shows will happen, we are in the process of contacting all ticket holders to offer you a full refund.

We’d like to thank everyone who has previously bought a ticket for one of our gigs in the past and we really value your continued support!

Take care and stay safe
