Melbourne Assembly Rooms

In association with Melbourne Arts Festival 2018

We are delighted to be welcoming Sound of the Sirens to the Melbourne Assembly Rooms on the 1st of September in association with The Melbourne Festival of Creative and Performing Arts.

Exeter-based duo Abbe Martin and Hannah Wood dovetail beautifully on their debut album For All Our Sins which was released in May 2017 to wide praise including from R2 Magazine who called it a “stunning debut collection”. ‘For All Our Sins’ is out now on DMF Records on CD, Vinyl and Digital.

Their live shows combine a natural facility for connecting with their audiences and unforgettable performances with warmth, humour and, above all, real conviction. Last year saw them play a number of shows in the UK including Camp Bestival, Isle of Wight Festival and supporting Rick Astley on his sold out UK tour. They supported Kiefer Sutherland on his UK dates last year, as well as playing at Glastonbury Festival and at a number of other festivals in the UK & Europe including Big Feastival, Jimmy’s Farm, Beautiful Days and Greenbelt.

2018 will see them play a number of shows around the UK and Europe and also plan to release new material.
