Sam is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Sheffield, who was named Best Newcomer at the 2010 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. You may have seen Sam's appearances on 'Later...with Jools Holland' and also in a specially assembled band to back Richard Thompson at Shrewsbury Folk Festival.
